Castle Rock has made waves in the Denver area with its newest recreational area, 225 acre Philip S. Miller Regional Park. This multi-use regional park provides a multitude f healthy activities for the area, and its location just across Plum Creek Parkway from the Millers Landing site provides users with unfettered access to many miles of soft trails, a large activity center and the soon to be opened SnowSports 365 at Castle Rock year round snow sports park. In addition to traditional play and athletic features, the park features unique amenities including trails, an outdoor adventure play area, traditional playgrounds and athletic fields, an amphitheater, water features and more. The park will be built in several phases over the next decade at a cost of approximately $30 million in public and private funds.
